At Premier Medical Imaging we specialize in (MRI) magnetic resonance imaging. MRI is a medical imaging technique used in radiology to form pictures of the anatomy and physiology processes of the body. MRI scanners use strong magnetic fields, magnetic field gradients and radio waves to generate images of the organs in the body. Our Siemens 1.5 Tesla wide bore, short barrel MRI unit is designed with larger claustrophobic patients in mind while still offering an amazing quality image that your doctor will appreciate. With this larger unit we are able to take patients up to 550 pounds while still offering excellent private pay pricing if the patient does not have and/or chooses not to use their insurance. Our patients often nap during their scan or are serenaded by music of their choice. Our patients are given a CD after their scan and can take the images directly to their next doctors appointment for review. Doctors can also access images and radiology reports via our Paxera Portal using secured passwords.
